India, US, China, Brazil and South Africa abstained from voting on a UN resolution titled "Support for lasting peace in Ukraine". The UN General Assembly adopted the resolution with 107 votes in favour to 12 against, and 51 abstentions. The resolution calls for "an immediate, full and unconditional ceasefire" between the Russia and Ukraine and reiterates support for Ukraine's independence.
