Amid the ongoing global supply disruption due to Strait of Hormuz blockage, India has emerged among the countries with the highest number of ships passing through the strait. Since February 28, at least nine Indian vessels have crossed the strait, namely Shivalik, Nanda Devi, Jag Laadki, Pine Gas, Jag Vasant, BW Tyr, BW Elm, Green Sanvi and Green Asha.
