India and China release 8-point statement after border talks

India and China released an 8-point statement after border talks between officials of the two countries in Beijing. India and China reaffirmed their commitment to maintain peace and tranquillity in the border areas, and discussed ways to improve understanding of Line of Actual Control in appropriate areas, for better border management. NSA Ajit Doval travelled to China for the talks.
