India bag 8th gold at Asian Games 2026, 2nd in archery

India won their second archery gold and eighth overall at Asian Games 2026 as Chikitha Taniparthi and Sahil Jadhav clinched the compound mixed team title. The pair defeated South Korea in shoot-off in the final. The victory also secured India a quota place for the compound mixed team event at Los Angeles Olympics 2028.
