India & Bhutan finalise MoU to set up rail links, ink other pacts

India and Bhutan have finalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up two railway networks between the countries, Kokrajhar-Gelephu and Banarhat-Samtse. The two countries also signed several other pacts in areas ranging from energy to space. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also became the first foreign head of government to receive Bhutan's highest civilian honour, Order of the Druk Gyalpo.
