India break world record with 13th consecutive lost coin toss

India set a new world record after captain Shubman Gill lost the toss at Lord's on Thursday. This is their 13th consecutive lost coin toss across formats, a record in men's international cricket. This spans three captains in Gill, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav. West Indies held the previous record with 12 losses in a row in February-April 1999.
