India has reported 3,79,257 COVID-19 cases and 3,645 deaths in the last 24 hours, breaking all previous records for the highest single-day rise in the number of daily cases and deaths in the country. India reported over three lakh new cases for the eighth straight day. The total number of cases reached 1,83,76,524, while the death toll surged to 2,04,832.
