India has purchased around 60 million barrels of Russian crude oil, which would be delivered next month, as disruption in Strait of Hormuz affected global oil supplies, Bloomberg reported. This comes as US granted 30-day "waiver" to buy Russian oil, which India said it never needed. A Russian tanker carrying 7.7 Lakh barrels of oil arrived in India last week.
