India can become the world's recycling capital: Dr Arunabha Ghosh

Battery and solar recycling is a huge business opportunity, climate expert Dr Arunabha Ghosh said on the podcast. About 600 kilotonnes of solar waste can be recycled in the next 10-15 years, meeting about 38% of the new minerals India needs, he said. Mining takes years and costs the environment, so India could become the world's recycling capital.
