Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina has offered India to utilise the country's ports in Chattogram and Sylhet, stating it will boost connectivity in the region and enhance people-to-people ties. Of the two, the Chattogram port is strategically located due to its proximity to India's northeastern states. Separately, the first-ever India-Bangladesh cross-border energy pipeline was inaugurated on March 18.
