India, China trade deficit reaches $51.5 bn during April-October

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal informed the Parliament that trade deficit between India and China has touched $51.5 billion during April-October this fiscal. According to the data, imports during the period stood at $60.27 billion, while exports aggregated at $8.77 billion. Goyal added that most of the goods imported from China are used for electronics, telecom and power sectors.
