More than 2 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccination have been administered in India, 18 months after vaccinations began in the country on 16 January 2021. According to CoWIN data, this includes 1,01,90,73,891 first vaccination doses and 92,59,26,880 second vaccination doses. As many as 5,50,14,860 precaution doses have also been administered.
