The External Affairs Ministry on Saturday distanced itself from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's (SCO) statement that condemned Israeli strikes on Iran. "India did not participate in the discussions on the above-mentioned SCO statement," the MEA stated. "We urge that channels of dialogue and diplomacy be utilised to work towards de-escalation," it further stated on Israel-Iran conflict.
