Ex-England cricketer Paul Newman has criticised India for the cancellation of the Manchester Test, alleging that they ignored guidelines during the five-Test series. "There really should have been no reason why they could not play...once [the] test results were returned," he stated. "India did not respect this series in pulling out...they didn't respect Test cricket either," he added.
