India ended Day 1 of the Mumbai Test at 86/4 in first innings, trailing New Zealand by 149 runs. Earlier in the day, India dismissed New Zealand for 235 runs with Ravindra Jadeja taking five wickets and Washington Sundar picking up four wickets. India have lost the wickets of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and nightwatchman Mohammed Siraj.
