India's largest telecom operator Vodafone Idea's CEO Balesh Sharma has said the country does not need a 5G network at this juncture. "We will look to invest in 5G only when there is an appropriate ecosystem and improvement in financial health," he added. Earlier, Sunil Mittal-led Bharti Airtel said the company does not have the appetite to buy 5G spectrum.
