India has slipped six places on Global Hunger Index 2022 to take 107th position out of 121 countries ranked. With a score of 29.1, the index's publishers Concern Worldwide and Welthungerhilfe have labelled the level of hunger in India as "serious". Meanwhile, Pakistan (99), Sri Lanka (64), Bangladesh (84), Nepal (81) and Myanmar (71) have been ranked above India.
