India enhances naval presence amid Strait of Hormuz tensions

As tensions rise due to the Iran-Israel-US conflict, India is confronting significant energy security challenges, with 45% of its energy imports transiting the Strait of Hormuz. In response, the Indian Navy has strengthened its presence in the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman, deploying additional warships to ensure the safe passage of vessels amidst these disruptions.
