India-EU FTA to boost India-Sweden corporate ties: Swedish envoy

Sweden's Ambassador to India Petra Menander said the proposed India-EU Free Trade Agreement will simplify corporate cooperation, support joint research, and facilitate technology transfers between Indian and Swedish firms. Speaking at the Bharat RE Summit 2026, she highlighted Sweden's role in India's clean energy transition and noted bilateral trade has grown to $7 billion by 2024–25.
