India is on the "verge of finalising" a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the European Union (EU) on pharmaceutical exports, Anice Joseph Chandra, the Director of the Department of Commerce, has said. Earlier, India had deferred the FTA talks after the EU banned the sale of around 700 pharmaceutical products. “We are also in talks with the UK," Chandra added.
