India fast-tracks $3-billion surveillance satellite scheme after Operation Sindoor

India is reportedly advancing its efforts to enhance its satellite-based surveillance capabilities after heightened tensions with Pakistan following Operation Sindoor. The government is reportedly working with three private firms on $3-billion surveillance satellites and has asked them to move up their satellite development schedule from four years to 12-18 months.
