India Gate disappears behind smog as AQI crosses 400 in several Delhi areas

Visuals from Wednesday morning showed a thick layer of haze in Delhi's India Gate area, with the monument becoming invisible behind smog. Delhi's average AQI crossed 370 ('very poor'), while several areas recorded 400+ ('severe') air quality. The AQI was 436 in Nehru Nagar, 431 in Chandni Chowk, 420 in RK Puram and 417 in Rohini.
