Skyroot Aerospace has become India's first space-tech unicorn after being valued at $1.1 billion in a $60-million funding round. The round's participants include one of Google's first investors, Ram Shriram, Singapore's GIC, BlackRock, Greenko Group, and Shanghvi family office. Skyroot, valued at $550 million three years ago, made an orbital launch in 2023 and is preparing for another one now.
