Novo Nordisk has launched Awiqli, a once-weekly basal insulin for adults with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes in India. Dr. Kartikeya Kohli says it may reduce injection burden but is not suitable for everyone. Patients should never switch from daily insulin without medical supervision and regular blood sugar monitoring.
