Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced that the Centre has granted a licence to Elon Musk's Starlink to operate in India. Starlink delivers high-speed internet access to remote locations using low Earth orbit satellites. Starlink is the third company, following Eutelsat OneWeb and Jio Satellite Communications, to receive a licence from Centre for satellite-based internet services.
