The Indian govt authorized production of a specialized jig for integrating a retractable refueling probe into the Tejas Mk2 fighter. This probe minimizes drag and improves fuel efficiency. In-flight refueling can almost double the Tejas Mk2's mission endurance to about 120 minutes, a significant advantage for high-altitude warefare.
