India has a floating post office, situated on a houseboat on the Dal Lake in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. Inaugurated in 2011, the post office also has a philately museum and a shop selling postage stamps and other products. Interestingly, letters posted from here can be enclosed in special envelopes and covers having scenic pictures of the state's tourist destinations.
