US President Donald Trump on Wednesday praised India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying New Delhi has a "great friend in the White House" for as long as he remains in office. Calling PM Modi a respected leader in their first one-on-one meeting in 16 months, Trump said, "Everyone here loves India, and they have tremendous respect for PM Modi."
