Meta India VP Ajit Mohan has said, "India has a huge role to play in shaping the future of...current internet, and in shaping the future of...internet, which we see as the metaverse." He added India has an "opportunity" to shape metaverse "in a way that we did not have the opportunity to shape the last version of the internet".
