India has most people below poverty line: World Bank

India accounted for the largest number of people living below international poverty line in 2013, the World Bank has said. Around 30% of India's population was living under the international $1.90 (₹126) a day poverty measure, the report added. It further said that extreme poverty worldwide continued to fall despite "under-performance" of the global economy.
