In the wake of Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 people were killed, former US National Security Advisor John Bolton said India has a legitimate right to self-defence. "Even neighbours can disagree...but resorting to terrorism is never an acceptable way of expressing disagreement," Bolton said. He further urged Delhi to exhaust all diplomatic avenues before launching a military counterstrike.
