India achieved a record 200 mineral block auctions in FY26, led by limestone, iron ore, and bauxite, the Ministry of Mines said. The milestone includes 22 critical mineral blocks, boosting resource security. States like Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu led contributions, strengthening a transparent and efficient mineral allocation system.
