Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that India was humiliated because of the cowardice of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. He further said that the "so-called Gandhi family" considers democracy a monarchy. He added, "Nehru ji handed over thousands of square kilometres of land to China...He advocated for China in the United Nations for Tibet."
