India imposes anti-dumping duty on two Chinese products
short by Pravel Jain / on Saturday, 27 December, 2025
India has imposed anti-dumping duty on two Chinese products, a refrigerant gas and certain steel goods, during the month to protect domestic players from cheap imports. The duties apply to cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel and R-134a, which were exported to India at below-normal prices. On steel goods, India levied duties of $223.82/tonne and $415/tonne on Chinese firms for five years.
