India launches rescue op after ship with Chinese crew sinks off east coast

India launched a rescue operation after a Panama-flagged cargo vessel sank off its eastern coast. The ship had 24 crew members, including 20 Chinese and one Bangladeshi. The Coast Guard deployed two vessels and rescued two people from life rafts. The vessel was carrying iron ore to Singapore after departing from India's eastern Paradip port on Thursday.
