India leads the world in pollution-linked deaths: GAHP report

India leads the world in the number of pollution-linked deaths with 2.3 million deaths, followed by China, Nigeria, Indonesia and Pakistan, a Global Alliance on Health and Pollution (GAHP) report found. India also entered the per-capita list at the 10th spot. Pollution was found to be the largest environmental cause of premature deaths on Earth, causing 15% of all deaths.
