India will consider extending deadlines for completing solar energy projects if developers prove they have been impacted after coronavirus hit supplies from China, Renewable Energy Secretary, Anand Kumar said. Earlier, ratings agency CRISIL said projects worth about ₹16,000 crore could be at risk of penalties for missing the July deadline. India buys about 80% of its solar modules from China.
