India may have to pay $1 billion (around ₹9,070 crore) to buy a permanent seat on Gaza's 'Board of Peace', according to reports. However, the three-year appointment doesn't have any contribution requirement. Notably, US President Donald Trump wrote a letter to PM Narendra Modi inviting India to join the board. The money will apparently be used to rebuild Gaza.
