India has offered the US a commitment to increase purchases of almonds and apples and scrap an import tariff of 50% levied on Harley-Davidson bikes as part of a trade deal, reports said. The trade deal would reportedly include India rolling back higher tariffs on some farm goods and the US restoring duty benefits on $5.6 billion of Indian exports.
