India may source rare earth minerals from Australia following shortages after China limited exports, reports stated. "There is an opportunity for India to take early-stage block and have tie-ups with a few companies," New South Wales government Trade and Investment Commissioner Malini Dutt said. India's private and public sectors have expressed interest in copper blocks in Australia, Dutt added.
