The Ministry of Defence has invited private firms to manufacture prototypes of India's fifth-generation stealth fighter jet, AMCA. The programme aims to strengthen indigenous defence production and modernise the Indian Air Force. The AMCA, designed with stealth capabilities, is India's answer to advanced fighters like the F-35, J-35, and Su-57.
