The Centre has objected to Mexico announcing up to 50% tariffs on Indian exports, saying it might take "appropriate measures" to protect exporters, Republic reported. The Centre has reportedly also said it'll continue diplomatic efforts to reverse the move, which it said is not in synchronisation with "spirit of cooperative economic engagement". Mexico's tariffs will likely hit 1,400 products.
