India overtakes Taiwan & South Korea in list of countries with largest stock markets

India regained its spot as the world's fifth-largest stock market, as sharp corrections and profit-booking in Taiwan and South Korea pulled their m-caps lower. This comes weeks after the two countries overtook India, which had consequently slipped two ranks. India's m-cap now stands at $5.05 trillion, while m-caps of Taiwan and South Korea are $4.97 trillion and $4.66 trillion.
