The Centre has announced three additional startups apart from Sarvam AI to build the country's first home-grown AI foundational models under the IndiaAI Mission. The three firms—Soket AI, Gnani.ai and Gan.ai were chosen from over 500 proposals. These startups will build large language models, which are conversational AI models. Centre is set to procure additional 16,000 GPUs under the mission.
