India has ranked 130 among 193 countries on the UN's Human Development Index (HDI) with Iceland on top. Norway, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden and Australia are among the top countries on the index with "very high human development". Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Finland, Singapore, UK, UAE, Canada, and Liechtenstein are among the other best performing nations on the list.
