India now ranks third globally in number of startup incubators and accelerators after China and the US, according to a Nasscom report. With 140 startup incubators and accelerators, India has surpassed Israel by 10 incubators. The number of incubators and accelerators in India grew by 40% in 2016, with Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi-NCR having the maximum number of accelerators.
