India has been ranked 44 out of 50 nations in the latest international Intellectual Property index released by the US Chambers of Commerce. India's score displayed largest percentage increase among all countries measured, and it broke out of bottom 10% for the first time. India's improvement was reportedly driven by positive reform efforts on the patentability of computer-implemented inventions.
