India defeated Sri Lanka by 82 runs to record their biggest-ever victory (by runs) in Women's T20 World Cup history. India put up a total of 172/3 and dismissed Sri Lanka for 90 in 19.5 overs. India's previous biggest victory in Women's T20 World Cup history had come on March 30, 2014 when they beat Bangladesh by 79 runs.
