India on Sunday recorded their highest-ever powerplay total in T20I cricket history. India scored 95/1 in their first six overs in the fifth T20I against England at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India's previous highest powerplay total in a T20I was 82, achieved twice, once against Bangladesh in 2024 and once against Scotland in 2021.
