After Indian crew members of a ship were taken into custody by Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, Indian Embassy said it wrote to Iranian government around mid-December seeking consular access to the crew. It contacted the UAE-based company that owns the ship to ensure legal representation for the crew. The matter is likely to face judicial process in Iran.
